Bison hope to sting the Bees

The Sherfield School Basingstoke Bison will be hoping the sting the Bracknell Bees this Saturday, when the sides clash for the final time in the regular season.

So far the Herd have won all five encounters this season and a sixth victory would give them their first clean sweep of wins for five years.

The Bison have started 2017 in good form having won their last five games, with their last success being a 4-1 win at league leaders Telford Tigers last Sunday.

Bracknell also won their last outing 7-2 in Hull, which saw them snap an 11 game losing streak.

The Herd will still be without the injured Joe Miller, for their only game of the weekend which starts at 6.30pm.

Looking ahead to the derby day battle as the Bees buzz into town head coach Doug Sheppard said: "Games are always tough against Bracknell, They are looking to try and get into the play-offs, so still have something to play for. We of course want to win to keep our running going."

Tickets for what are also exciting games between these two sides are still available from the Basingstoke Arena box office on (01256) 355266 or from the Bison website.

The Bison have no game on Sunday night.
