Its away then home this weekend as the Sherfield School Basingstoke Bison start their weekend on the road at Swindon Wildcats on Saturday ahead of the first Sunday home game of the season when the Sheffield Steeldogs are in Hampshire.

Bison go into the weekend on the back of a good road win last Sunday at Bracknell. The team started the game short and finished...

Bison aim to sink Pirates once again

The Sherfield School Basingstoke Bison start their hunt for play-off glory with a visit from the Hull Pirates on Wednesday night (7.30pm).

The Herd enjoyed a clean sweep of home wins over Hull during the regular season, but this now counts for nothing in the post season.

The Bison will still be minus Vanya Antonov for the game, but otherwise will be at full strength.

Looking ahead to the game, head coach Doug Sheppard said: It is new season now and like Hull we want to get off to a winning start. We are expecting a tough game, but the guys are looking forward to it.

Tickets for what should be a great play-off opener are available from the box office on (01256) 355266 or via the website.
