Bison out to tame Tigers in Coventry

The Sherfield School Basingstoke Bison travel to the Coventry this weekend, looking to pick up the final piece of silverware on offer - the play-off trophy.

The Herd booked their place in the final four as Group B winners and will face the Telford Tigers in the second semi-final on Saturday, which has a 5pm face-off.

The first semi-final of the weekend, will see the Milton Keynes Lightning take on the Guildford Flames.

The winners of each game will then meet on Sunday (4pm) in Coventry as the final piece of silverware for the EPL season will be decided.

The Bison have been beaten just once in their last 13 games and will be at full strength to take on the reigning league champions.

Looking ahead to the game, Bison head coach Doug Sheppard said: "We know that no game this weekend is going to be easy, but we will be going there hoping to make it another weekend to remember for our fans.

"We have won the play-offs before and many of those players are still with the team and want to do it again."
