With the sad news earlier this week of the sudden passing of our scorer Keith Hope, we have been asked by the family to share the funeral arrangements with the Bison family.

The funeral will be held at Basingstoke crematorium on Thursday 1st August 2019 at 9.30am which will be an opportunity for us all to take part in a celebration of Keith’s life.

Price Freeze on Season Ticket & Match Night Prices & Home Opener Confirmed

The Basingstoke Bison are pleased to announce that, applications are now invited from those wishing to purchase a season ticket for the 2018 / 19 ice hockey season.

Prices for both season tickets and match night prices have been frozen at 2017 / 18 rates with the added bonus of an extra game discount being offered on the new look season ticket package.

Categories for season tickets will again be available as follows:

Adult = a person aged 22 to 59 years as of 1st September 2018.

Child = a person aged 3 to 15 years as of 1st September 2018

Young Adult = a person aged 16 to 21 years as of 1st September 2018.

Senior Citizen = a person aged over 60 years as of 1st September 2018.

Registered Disabled = proof of disability is required.

Family season tickets are for 2 adults and 2 children only, whom comply to the categories above.

Coach Tait and his new look team will be playing 26 regular season games this season made up of 1 pre-season challenge game, 16 NIHL league games, 6 Southern cup games and 3 Autumn cup games.

For all categories other than adult you will be required to provide a photocopy or scanned photo ID and proof of disability (if applicable).

Once again two lucky season ticket holders will have their season tickets personally delivered to them by a Bison player at the start of the season for all those that apply before Friday 3rd August 2018.

We are also pleased to confirm the date of our home opener when once again we will be playing our now customary Pre-season game with the Peterborough Phantoms.

Last season the Bison were the inaugural winners of the Billy Glover Memorial Cup, Billy was a very popular member of the Planet Ice staff who well known throughout the country for his contribution and love of ice hockey who tragically passed away in early 2017.

Saturday 8th September, face off at 6.30pm will be the first chance for Bison fans to see Coach Tait’s new look roster with the return leg being played in Peterborough the next evening (Sunday 9th September) with a face off time of 5.30pm

Coach Tait commented, “Its great news to be able announce the date of my first game as coach of the Bison, I knew Billy well and he was always someone you’d see at the Bretton rink I couldn’t think of more fitting way to start the season”.

Application forms and information will be also be available to pick up from the Arena Box Office and all season ticket holders from last year will be emailed the pack direct.
