At last night’s Season ticket night Coach Tait whetted the Bison faithful’s appetite by introducing to the room in person, 23-year-old D Man Chris Cooke who has also agreed to join the herd for the 2018 / 19 season.

23-year-old, Cooke who hails from the Guildford Junior system, iced 29 times last term for Streatham scoring 3 points and taking 18 minutes in penalties.

Cooke’s previous clubs include a stint in the EPIHL for Guildford Flames as well as icing for Invicta Dynamos and Wightlink Raiders in the NIHL. He also represented Great Britain in the 2016 / 17 Universiade games in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Chris commenting on signing for the Bison said,” I'm really excited to be joining the bison, when the opportunity presented itself on joining the herd there was no question I wanted to sign. Basingstoke is a club rich in history with a passionate fan base which made the decision even easier.

“I have heard many great things about ash as a person and obviously the quality of player that he is and I'm looking forward to relishing the opportunity to work with him and be part of a fantastic team”.
