Weekend Preview: Phantoms and Raiders in League Action for BisonThis weekend sees the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison continue with NIHL League action on Saturday when we welcome to Basingstoke the Peterborough Phantoms and then on Sunday we travel to Romford to play the Raiders.
Bison will be out to avenge the 2 defeats encountered when we played Phantoms in pre-season for the Billy Glover Memorial Trophy.
Saturdays game starts at 6.30pm with doors opening at 5.30pm.
Tickets are available in advance by calling 01256 355266, at the box office for personal callers or online by clicking here and on the door.
The Bison will look to have a full line-up for both games, having been notified this evening that Michal Klejna’s match penalty for spearing has been quashed following video evidence sent to the League Disciplinary panel.
Looking ahead to the weekend games Bison player/coach Ashley Tait said: “We’ve worked hard in training this week ready for the Phantoms, we played them pre-season and will look to avenge the losses encountered and take the victory roared on by a noisy and passionate fanbase”.
