Weekend Preview: Dynamos & Raiders for Bison In Last Games Before Christmas

In our last games before the festive period, the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison, this weekend see the Bison play the Invicta Dynamos at home on Saturday and away in Romford on Sunday to play the raiders.

The Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison welcome the Invicta Dynamos for their second visit of the year. The Herd have played the Dynamos 3 times so far this season winning all on all three occasions – at home 5 – 3 and in Gillingam 5 – 3 and 5 – 1. Invicta have battled through both on and off ice issues this term and are currently in 8th position in NIHL with 2 points from 24 games.
The game starts at 6.30pm with doors opening at 5.30pm.

Tickets are available in advance by calling 01256 355266, at the box office for personal callers or online by clicking here and on the door.

The Bison will continue to be without young forward who sits the last game game of his 6 game ban and will have a late fitness test on young defenceman Sam Smith.

Looking ahead to the weekend games Bison player/coach Ashley Tait said: “Yet again we played great last weekend after the 1st 10 minutes of the game against Peterborough and it certainly shows the heart and character in the room with our never say die attitude. Ashley continued,” all games in this league are difficult and this weekend is no different”.

On Saturday night we have 2 great events for supporters of both teams:

Our Annual “Air the Bear” event in association with Naomi House.

Skate with the Bison after the game.

Details for both events are available on the website www.bstokebison.co.uk

Sunday’s game in Romford versus the Raiders faces off at 5.30pm.
