Slovakian overseas player Michal Klejna returns for a second season in the Herd uniform as exclusively revealed earlier today in the Basingstoke Gazette.

Klejna completes the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison overseas roster for the 2019 / 20 season and will once again ice alongside Richard Bordowski as our two overseas players.

Weekend Preview: Wildcats & Phantoms Of 2018

Friday night sees the second visit of the league title contenders the Swindon Wildcats to the Basingstoke arena at the later face off time of 7.30pm when your Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison will be looking to give the Herd’s fans another Christmas present and keep up the great run of home form.

Swindon currently sit in 3rd position with the Bison currently 4th both on 33 points, With the Herd having 2 games in hands on their rivals.

We are expecting a big crowd for the game so would suggest that fans book seats in advance.

On Sunday night the Herd travel to Peterborough to face league leaders the Phantoms with face off being 5.30pm.

Please remember this week's home game is on Friday night and the game starts at the later face off time of 7.30pm with doors opening at 6.30pm.

Looking ahead to the weekend games Bison
player/coach Ashley Tait said: “This weekend is a big weekend for the Herd with games versus both of our main rivals Swindon and Peterborough. Both teams have very strong rosters and we are looking forward to the games, we are under no illusion that we must be at the top of our game and put on good display for the fans in order to get the wins”.

Adam Harding is expected to ice for the Herd after his Christmas eve signing announcement.
