Reminder: Zizzi Night Raising Funds for Ark Cancer Centre Charity - 23rd January 2019

After the great success of first charity evening back in October, the Trane-sponsored Basingstoke Bison and Zizzi restaurant can confirm that our second event on the 23rd January 2019 will go ahead as planned. Once again we will be raising funds in order to help our friends at Ark raise the £5million required for the Ark Cancer Centre the area and local community so richly deserves.

Long-time Bison sponsors Zizzi will open their doors to Bison fans at 7pm on the 23rd for what will be a special event. Once more some of the Herd players will become waiters for the evening.

As well being served by some of the Bison stars, the Zizzi dinner guests will be able to take part in a raffle where the prizes will include a signed Bison shirt, signed stick, Zizzi vouchers, and a Zizzi gift basket.

Fans can book tables for the event by calling Zizzi on 01256 212835.

Mark Jones, director of fundraising and communications for Ark Cancer Centre Charity, said: “Ark Cancer Centre Charity is proud to be a community partner of the Bison, and we are looking forward to seeing the Herd family at was is also an entertaining evening, its not every day you get your sporting heroes serving you your food and drinks”.

“Every pound counts towards the £5m target, and Ark Cancer Centre Charity is grateful for the generous support from Bison head coach/player Ashley Tait, his fellow players, the team at Zizzi, and everyone who attends.”

Ark Cancer Centre Charity’s £5m appeal will provide a range of support services and complementary therapies, alongside chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments, in a calm and uplifting environment.

Largely being funded by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT), plans are progressing to locate the new cancer treatment centre on the existing Basingstoke hospital site.
