Slovakian overseas player Michal Klejna returns for a second season in the Herd uniform as exclusively revealed earlier today in the Basingstoke Gazette.

Klejna completes the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison overseas roster for the 2019 / 20 season and will once again ice alongside Richard Bordowski as our two overseas players.

Weekend Preview: Streatham & Table Toppers Phantoms for the Bison

This Saturday evening 25th January, Streatham visit the Basingstoke Arena for the for the final time this season to play your Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison.

Streatham currently sit in sixth position in the league table with 26 points from 28 games whilst after last weekends 4 point weekend the Bison have risen to 3rd place with 44 points from 29 games.

In the 5 games played so far in the current campaign between the two teams, Bison have come away with 2 victories, an overtime win 4 – 3 and a 5 – 1 victory in our last home game. Whilst away from home the Bison have won 4 – 2 and 6 – 1 and earlier in January lost 3 – 4 in what was a very tight game.

On Sunday night the Herd visit Peterborough to play the Phantoms which will be another great match up between the two teams.
Saturday’s game starts at 6.30pm with doors opening at 5.30pm.

Looking ahead to the weekend games Bison player/coach Ashley Tait said: “We have worked hard this week in training and the boys know that this weekend is crucial in our campaign especially as we play the league leaders on Sunday evening.
