Slovakian overseas player Michal Klejna returns for a second season in the Herd uniform as exclusively revealed earlier today in the Basingstoke Gazette.

Klejna completes the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison overseas roster for the 2019 / 20 season and will once again ice alongside Richard Bordowski as our two overseas players.

Mr Basingstoke Returns for 2019 / 20 Season

With the announcement last weekend that Player Coach Ashley Tait was confirmed as returning for the 2019 / 20 season, the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison are delighted to also confirm that Assistant Coach and Bench Coach for the Herd Tony “Tosh” Redmond will once again be behind the bench marshalling the troops.

On agreeing to return for next season Tony said, “Everybody knows how I feel about this club and I’m very excited for what the future holds. I’m very happy to be back and look forward to working with Ash, John, Gaz, Phil & Glen to continue and improve what we have started.

Tony continued, “My family have been 100% behind me getting involved in this great sport again and I’d like to thank them for the understanding and support they have given me this season”.

Coach Tait commented, “Tosh and I have a great understanding of where we as a club are and where we aspire to be, its great that we can continue this journey together.

John Neville commented, “After last summer it’s great news for all Bison fans that we are able to be announce our coaching duo as early as we have”.

“It’s something I wanted to happen as early as possible so that we have every opportunity to build a roster for the forthcoming season. In tandem, Ash and Tosh have been a great partnership and I am excited to see where the guys can take the team in the future”.
