Harding’s Back For 2 More YearsAs exclusively revealed this morning in the Basingstoke Gazette, the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison are pleased to announce the re-signing of Welsh forward Adam Harding for a further 2 years.
Twenty-six-year-old, Adam scored 26 points (13 goals and 13 assists) last term when joining the Herd at Christmas and had this to say about his re-signing, “As a couple of guys said at the end of the season they found their love for hockey again, well this couldn’t be more true for myself and I can’t thank the bison family enough for it. It was a no brainier for me when ash contacted me about next season, so much so I wanted to come back for two seasons - See you all in September.”
Adam iced previously for the Cardiff Devils, Manchester Storm and Dundee Stars in the EIHL and both the EPIHL and NIHL with the Swindon Wildcats.
Coach Tait commenting on getting his man for 2 more seasons said, “Bringing Hard’s back is great news for the club. He was a great pick up for us last year and gave us some much-needed depth. I think he'll thrive on the added responsibility he's going to get as he's a guy who can play in all situations and contributes at both ends of the ice. I think he'll continue to get better and better”.
Adam will once again wear Jersey number 4 for the Bison and his home and away jerseys will be available shortly through our ever popular ‘Own and Loan’ scheme.
