ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW: 14/09 VS PETERBOROUGH PHANTOMS

Tonight the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison commence there inaugural season in the newly formed National division of the NIHL with a weekend match up versus the Peterborough Phantoms in the annual “Billy Glover” Memorial Trophy.

Please could all supporters be in their seats early as we honour the life of Keith Hope prior to face off.

2019 / 20 Fixtures Released

The Trane Basingstoke Bison are pleased to able to announce the fixture list for the forthcoming 2019 / 20 season, after our pre-season tussle with the Peterborough Phantoms (re-scheduled to 14th & 15th September).

The newly formed National League kicks off on the Saturday 21st September with the Telford Tigers visiting the Basingstoke arena, followed by our old foes the Bracknell Bees on the 28th (both games facing off at 6.30pm).

Our away campaign begins with the Herd visiting the Raiders (Face off 5.15pm) who yet again have ex- Bison fan favourites Aaron Connelly and Dan Scott in their roster followed by a return visit to Peterborough to play the Phantoms.

The newly formed teams MK Lightning and Leeds Chiefs visit Basingstoke for the first time on 2nd November and 14th December respectively and the Herd visit them on the 21st & 15th December.

Our Christmas schedule includes a home and away clash with local rivals the Swindon Wildcats, the Wildcats will visit Basingstoke on Boxing Day 26th December and the return encounter being held on New Year’s Day 1st January 2020 in Swindon.

The regular season will end for the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison with a double header weekend against local rivals the Bracknell Bees – the Bees visiting the Bison on 21st March (Face off 6.30pm) and the return leg on the 22nd (Face off 5.30pm).

Coach Tait commenting on the release of the fixtures said, “We now know who we play and when and all of us at the Bison are really excited and can’t wait for the season begin. Fans young and old look forward to this day so they can plan what games to watch and which rinks they will visit to watch their team and we can’t wait to see and hear our noisy and passionate fans come September”.
