TALBOT RETURNS FOR 2020 / 21 SEASON

As exclusively revealed this morning in the Basingstoke Gazette, the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison are pleased to announce the return of British forward Sam Talbot for the 2020/21 season.

Bayley Harewood Selected for GB U18 World Championship Roster

The Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison are delighted to confirm that Cardiff born forward, Bayley Harewood has been selected to represent the Great Britain national team for the forthcoming U18 World Championship Division II Group A in Tallinn.

The six-team IIHF tournament will be held in the Tondiraba Ice Hall and runs from 22nd to 28th March 2020.

Great Britain will play against the host nation Estonia, as well as Korea, Lithuania, Romania and Serbia.

Bison Head Coach Ashley Tait commenting on Bayley’s selection said, “Its great news and testament to the development of our young players that Bayley has been selected to GB U18 roster, everyone connected with the club wishes Bayley and the GB squad the best of luck at the championships”.

Head coach, Sean Easton, said: “After our camp in Dumfries, we are all heading to Estonia with a strong belief that we can achieve great things.

“Two years ago in Estonia we won gold and we are aiming to repeat this achievement. “We have a great mix of talent and characters this year. Building blocks have started in the team prep for the upcoming World Championship.“We, as a coaching group, are looking forward to seeing what this team can achieve.”
