Bison Welcome Ark Cancer Charity As a Corporate Partner

This Saturday (15th February 2020) the Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison are pleased to welcome ARK Cancer Centre Charity as proud sponsor of our game versus Swindon Wildcats.

As part of the partnership between the charity and the Bison, Ark is sponsoring Alex Sampford, one of the Trane Basingstoke Bison’s home-town stars.

The Herd’s top British goalscorer last season, sharp-shooter Alex chalked up an impressive career high of 26 goals in 2018-19, and he’s carried on the fabulous form this season.

Alex said: “I am proud to be sponsored by Ark Cancer Centre Charity and to fly the flag for the charity’s £5million appeal.

“So many local families have been affected by cancer, and Ark’s fundraising campaign will ensure that vital supportive care and services, complementary therapies, and an enhanced environment are delivered and make a big difference to so many local people.”

Mark Jones, director of fundraising and communications at Ark Cancer Centre Charity, said: “Ark is proud to be one of the Bison corporate and community partners, and is delighted to sponsor Alex as part of this partnership.

“The Bison is a great community-focused sports club, and we are grateful to the fans, players, coaches, and management for their ongoing support for Ark’s fundraising campaign that will deliver improved care and services for cancer patients and their loved ones.”
